Unique opportunity to receive feedback on your paper idea or full manuscript from JSBE journal editors:

This is special invitation and reminder to all who are engaged in research related to small business or entrepreneurship to attend a special Paper Development Workshop (PDW) we have organized with the editors of the Journal for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (JSBE) as a pre-conference workshop for the Canadian Council for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (CCSBE) conference we are hosting here on May 3rd- 5th.

This is a unique opportunity for researchers to receive developmental feedback from the journal editors on their current research projects related to small businesses and entrepreneurship in order to help new (or lesser published) scholars advance in the field.

Furthermore, it is the hope that the papers coming out from this PDW will eventually be published in
JSBE – or other related journals. Research related to small business and entrepreneurship covers a broad range of topics – including marketing, global markets, HR, entrepreneurship, innovation, finance, and other topics.

Submission instruction for the PDW:

Each applicant can submit only one of the following two types:

• Full research papers (8,000-12,000 words)

• Paper idea (2,000-3,000 words in length and include a theoretical framework, propositions,
and proposed research design).

All manuscripts should be submitted to http://www.edmgr.com/rsbe (under the title “JSBE Paper Development Workshop”) by March 15, 2018. Participants will be notified about the acceptance of their submissions no later than April 5, 2018. They will need to confirm their participation in the PDW by April 15, 2018 upon which they will be assigned a manuscript to review. Each participant at the 2018 CCSBE conference will have to register/pay the fees online. Please visit the conference website: https://www.launchdal.com/ccsbe-2018/

Participation at the PDW is limited. Participants will be invited based on the quality of their submission and they must register for the CCSBE conference to participate in the PDW.
